In this episode, Nick describes how the Left-wing ideologies of the last century (National Socialism; Communism; collectivisation; socialism etc) have given the word “ideology” itself a bad reputation.

Yet in and of itself, ideology is neither good or bad. Rather it is the nature of the ideas that leads to a good or bad ideology. Nick describes how, when it comes to your finances, working with a financial adviser who has a sensible and strong (and often repeated) ideology can help save you from making enormously expensive, bad financial decisions.
